Accessibility statement

What we are aiming for

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, across every page of this site.

What is in place

• A skip link as the first item in the tab order, so keyboard users can jump past the header straight to the content.
• Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• The scrolling client list has a pause control, and its names are also given to screen readers as a plain list rather than being hidden behind the animation.
• All motion respects prefers-reduced-motion: with that setting on, animation stops and the final state is shown.
• Text meets the AA contrast ratio in both the light and dark themes.
• The site works without JavaScript. Every page renders in full, the navigation stays visible on small screens instead of collapsing behind a menu button that could not open, and controls that need JavaScript — the menu button, the case-reel arrows, the marquee pause — are hidden rather than left sitting dead. The theme toggle and the horizontally scrolling case reel still work by preference and by touch.
• Semantic landmarks and headings, meaningful alternative text on images, and correct aria-current, aria-expanded and aria-pressed state on navigation and toggles.

How we check

Every page is scanned with axe-core against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rule sets, in both themes, and the build is checked with JavaScript disabled and with reduced motion enabled. At the last check, all pages passed with no violations.

What we have not verified

We want to be straightforward about the limits of that:

• Automated tools catch roughly half of the WCAG criteria. No external audit has been carried out.
• We have not tested with screen-reader users, or with voice control, switch access or magnification software.
• Cognitive and plain-language criteria have not been formally assessed.
• Documents and photography supplied by third parties may not meet the same standard.

So while our automated checks pass, we describe this as conformance we have tested for rather than conformance that has been independently certified.

Vynatix is a private company, so the Swedish public-sector accessibility supervision route (Myndigheten för digital förvaltning, DIGG) does not apply to this site; if the European Accessibility Act brings us in scope, we will name the competent authority here.
