An in-cab radio, rebuilt for Android Automotive.
We rebuilt the in-cab radio and media player for Volvo Trucks on Android Automotive, and shipped it to production across the fleet.
The constraint. Built above the vehicle hardware layer, on Android Automotive. We agreed what was in scope and what was not before the first line of code.

We took a build pipeline from a 47 minute wait to under 6, an 87 percent reduction on every commit, for the whole team.
What it does and does not do. The gain lands on every commit the team pushes. We were scoped to the pipeline, not the build targets, and we agreed that boundary up front.

A closed-domain assistant that refuses to guess.
We built an assistant that answers inside a defined domain and hands everything else to a person, on purpose. It declines questions it cannot ground in source, rather than inventing an answer.
What it does and does not do. It answers questions it can ground in source, with citations. It refuses questions it cannot ground, and routes them to a human. We set that line deliberately, and we can show you exactly where it sits and why.
No language model has literally zero error. The honest design is a system that refuses outside its domain, and you can see where the line is.
