A consultancy by engineers, for engineers.

Freelance independence. Collective strength. Complete transparency. You stay freelance, keep your work, and get the client access, infrastructure and peer network that solo operators cannot build alone.

The trilemma

Every senior engineer faces the same three-way trap.

None of these is the career most senior engineers actually want.

01

Stay employed

Capped compensation, fading autonomy, and architectural calls made two levels above you, by people with half your context.

02

Go fully solo

Endless sales cycles, admin that eats a fifth of your week, no leverage on larger contracts, and isolation from the peers who would sharpen your thinking.

03

Join a consultancy

Margin taken before you see a krona, non-technical managers telling you how to engineer, and your craft turned into a line on a staffing chart.

The fourth option

So we built one.

A consultancy built and run by senior engineers. You stay freelance. You keep your work. You get the client access, infrastructure and peer network that solo operators cannot build alone, without the margin extraction and the management layer of traditional consulting.

What you get

Independence, with leverage behind it.

01

Senior assignments, vetted

We decline work that does not match the level of our members. Scope, autonomy and technical depth are real, not junior work dressed up.

02

A transparent revenue split

What lands with you and what covers the collective, itemised on every assignment. No aggregated year-end numbers.

03

Shared infrastructure

Contracts, invoicing, legal reviews, insurance, payment chasing. The things that eat a solo consultant's week, handled.

04

A peer network worth having

Senior engineers who sharpen each other's architecture, review each other's contracts, and team up on larger assignments when it makes sense.

05

Brand credibility

Walk into enterprise Nordic conversations as Vynatix. The doors that open for a collective rarely open for a solo operator.

06

No lock-ins

No non-competes. No exclusivity clauses. No claim on your IP beyond the specific deliverables of each assignment.

Transparency, in practice

Not a slogan. Here is what it looks like on a Monday morning.

This is how we keep the promise of by engineers, for engineers. Not in the tagline, in the books.

01

You see the revenue split on every assignment

When a client pays, you see exactly what portion lands with you and what covers the collective's operating costs. Itemised. Every time.

02

You choose your assignments

We source and qualify. You decide. If an assignment does not fit your craft, your availability or your values, it does not fit. No pressure, no guilt.

03

Operational clarity, not a black box

How decisions get made, what the economics look like across the collective, and where the money goes, documented and visible to every member.

How it works

From first conversation to first assignment.

Week 0

Intro conversation

Thirty minutes. We calibrate both ways, your work, your goals, how we operate. Zero pressure.

Week 1

Fit, both ways

Technical and cultural conversations with current members. You meet the people, we learn how you work.

Weeks 2–3

Onboarding

Contracts, infrastructure, introductions across the collective. One to two weeks, depending on you.

Week 4+

First assignment

We source and qualify options matched to your profile. You review, approve, engage. We stay in the loop.

Ongoing

Membership

Assignments, peer community, quarterly transparency reviews. Leave whenever, on your terms.

Who this works for

A collective, not an agency.

The model only works when both sides are invested.

This is for you if

  • You are a senior-plus engineer or designer with 7+ years of real delivery behind you
  • You are already freelance, or seriously considering the move
  • You are after both independence and a community of peers, rather than one or the other
  • You work in or near Android, AAOS, automotive, embedded, backend, platform or product design
  • You are done with non-technical management telling you how to engineer

This is not for you if

  • You want traditional full-time employment with benefits
  • You need daily management
  • You are earlier than the senior track
  • You are looking for a recruiter to place you into a client's org chart
Let us talk

A thirty-minute conversation, no pitch, no pressure.

Tell us about your work, what you want next, and what you will not compromise on. We will tell you honestly whether Vynatix is the right fit, and what joining would look like if it is.
